today's zhenhui's birthday party. she is my friend up till secondary school, although we didn't really have much to talk about in common... was aina who told me about this anyway. (she was in invisible mode when i was there, though). a nice, talented lady with a knack for cultural dancing, whom i think should one day be shining on the silver screen.this week came pretty fast: re-visited the dentist on wed to get the @#$% stitches out of my wisdom tooth - earned me two days MC, wed and thu. fri went back, did some stuff in the morning and asked for off in the afternoon (and got it). came back, some ff8, slept for about 2 hours till 5pm. woke up and did myself up, and got ready to zhenhui's birthday party. lost contact since probably the day i left secondary school, that's about four years. dunno if she'd rem me... if so i planned to give her the $17 perlini's silver necklace then bolt... (yeah yeah cheap stuff but i'm broke)well, contrary to the ill expectations, she did remember me, and for the first hour i was greeted with a warm welcome from her folks, dad, mum, uncles, siblings, etc. the moment i saw her, it was like, Wow. we have grown up. even her sister has kids liao. time passes by so fast. her sis' twins are pretty cute, playing with them, no matter how ridiculous the whole thing sounds, reminds me of days long ago. nostalgia floods back with those infantile babbles.we chatted for a while, then sort of broke for dinner (buffet spread, yums, although didn't have much due to the wisdom tooth, or rather, the cavity in my mouth now) at ard 8pm. i was the first to arrive, was the first to start munching. Cool. Left at about 9pm, din want to get home too late. felt great, as i've got her hp. no, not in that sense - the lady's got a boyfriend - but in the sense that there's one more friend (hopefully) out there. also, there's someone to give discounts when shopping at an undisclosed jewellery shop at an undisclosed location (heh heh).

Can't sleep. That is, me and my dog. He's keeping me awake, with his incessant noises (?) Perhaps i've spent the past few days sleeping at one a.m.Gonna read some www.mrbrown.com, then hopefully it'll work like a charm.6 more hours to waking up. What to do with it?Throat feels a bit itchy. Seems like the Danzen didn't work, get ready for another case of pharnygitis. (Hopefully tomorrow I can sleep in the office...)

Sunday, February 20, 2005. 74 days to ORD. Actually 20 more working days (yippie)Another of those boring sundays, where you simply wait for monday to come,And with it, a new week. Nobody wants to go out on Sundays, cos they have to book in tonight.There's a good Channel 8 show at 2000, is it not? So many weekends before have had such an ending. No choice, we have to serve the country and defend our land. At the expense of our youth? It is a sacrifice we must make.20 days to clear leave... ie. 4 more working weeks... the final lap.Do finish the last duty. No more green ic, no more officers, no more saluting. Time to feel like a man. No more long hours within guarded fences, no more No. 4.No more sundays where we have to wait for mondays.Phew, i've done my duty.

yo.... this is my first blog. what to say.. hmmover the next few days (months, years) hopefully i can add more stuff into it... once i figured how to use this software.then i will figure out what to write... hmm not very productive for a blogger ay?we'll see....(about 2.5 months to ORD)why queue?
