yep anat test today was shit. of the 4 topics tested, what came out was 1) BLOOD!!! 2) Liver. k.

1) describe the similarities and/or differences between RBCs and neutrophils wrt to:
a) cell morphological features and cellular contents (include organelles), 70%
b) cell functions, 30%.
2) A 21yo undergrad was diagnosed to have Hep A (poor thing). He had jaundice and a mildly enlarged liver.
a) Give an account of the structure, important relations and functions of the liver.
b) Describe histologocial features of the hepatocyte when seem under light microscope and TEM.
c) what is jaundice.
this test is crap, man, oh crap. sustained a few minor memory blocks here and there, but together they add up to a major memory block. shit.
1200 hours. after having lunch with the guys at NUH, they left to buy birthday cake.. whereas i left for hall to get qsar notes. 1300 - went to LT20 and found all the guys there playing - everyone was in quite a relaxed mood.. except some ppl who are still mugging.. anyway i tried to fiddle with the speaker system and found out, aye? one of the wires seem to be able to be plugged into my mp3 player...? why not?? in an instant the LT was filled with the sound of Enya's Only Time. Quite a soothing piece.
Only thing was that the speaker sucked, it has LITTLE BASS and NO TREBLE, so all you could hear was the "dum" sounds of the bass notes playing and some faint singer voicing away. Sucks. Plans for a mini-concert will be shelved until i find a way to better equalise the sound system.
Also afterwards niron, farveez, and parry (?, the cool guy from ke7) came into the LT and farveez said "you beat us to it!" and after that they took over as DJs and played their own songs of hiphop and rock. Sadly, the bass in the LT could not take it at all. It turned out to be utterly horrible.
1600 hours: after the qsar lecture was the birthday celebration of ee sang and choon han, both of them lab mates to each other. cut cake, sang songs and all the other "neutral and acceptable" stuff. annoucements for some vacation at dec, monday's "halloween" celebrations, monday's tutorial 4 (shit, by dr chui) and some other stuff, then all the gals dispersed. left the guys, choon han and ee sang, as well as junice (?!) who was eating cake.
i dispersed as well but felt quite reluctant to go hall.. therefore decided to wait for choon han and / or jevin to see what fate has in store. luckily i went back.. left over was 7 guys (names not published) and choon han (and junice... why she has not left?? hehe) so we waited till the whole LT was clear and ATTACK!! the target fled to L3 but was quickly subdued and carried back to LT20. Then we began the true "birthday celebrations"...
One left hand, one right hand, one both legs, the rest shooting away.. wow.
