21st Birthday Bash

Whew...
3am in the morning, and i still don't feel sleepy.
Still reeling from the adrenaline from the chalet.. but

First to come into the house were relatives: paternal grandparents, my 3rd aunt and her son (my cousin), and my maternal grandfather with accompanying maid, my fourth uncle, my sixth uncle and his children.

JC classmates leo, ws, yew sen, edwin, boonwee, shunji, lay teng arrived soon after at 7pm.. as usual, leo, ws and yew sen were on the dot, good soldiers, despite them running for SCM (standard chartered marathon) tomorrow. they gave me some cool earphones from Sony, complete with an awesome bag!

I'm still surviving on a set of earphones.. looks awesome man.. radical.

Next was the sec sch classmates: wang, bryan, yanzhang, hans, andy, youli, runxin. the guys pooled their cash together and gave me... yeah. a set of headphones

dots. haha.

runxin gave me a T-shirt wrapped in some brown paper (those kind u use to wrap up exam papers in NUS) with a fanciful-looking ribbon, two, in fact with some near-invisible cellophane tape running along the spine of the present. and to complete the present, she handed the present to me a purple plastic bag.

haha... homemade presents again with that extra personal touch. OK, only the wrapping was her effort. haha. whatever.

then came the classmates from pharmacy: bingxun, jevin, yijiang, weida, tiong phew, yuantai, choon han. and they gave me what i have almost always coveted: a blue leather jacket!

coupled with my everyday (yes!!! i wore jeans to school everyday for the first sem!! can't believe it!!!) outfit of jeans and T-shirt, it looks great, well i dun have any fashion sense, so at least it looks matching. acts as a synergist i would say.

though, it is a bit small, heh. gives me some incentive to lose weight, ha. but i think i'll get the tailor.

haha.

and now on a more serious note.
i'm thankful that as an epileptic, i can still have so many people that bother to treat me as a friend, who mutually honours and respects one another.
some people that have the same infliction may not be so lucky, they have missed out on so many things in life, so many happy occasions, including their 21st birthday, instead only to live out a life of suffering.
my heart goes out to them.
